“At Mission in Action Nakuru Baby Orphanage
we aim to firstly provide a loving and safe environment where newborn
babies and children up to 4 years who then remain to the age of
majority (18 years) will be nurtured in a Christian lifestyle that
promotes the development of their spiritual, physical, social and
emotional growth"
Mission in Action was established by
the Budulica’s,
an Australian family who relocated to Nakuru, Kenya indefinitely
to dedicate their lives to the people of Nakuru who are struggling
with some form crisis with poverty, hunger or disease. The
family includes Ivan and Mary with their children Adam, Rachel
and Sarah.
Mission in Action (MIA) is registered
by the Kenyan Government and is currently in the process
of building their baby orphanage. Once this is complete they will be
able to foster up to 30-40 newborn babies and children up to four years.
The MIA family are currently living in a town house in Nakuru while
the orphanage is being built. They are already fostering thirteen
newborn babies and children, but their space is getting crowded and
the family is finding it difficult to say no to any new additions
to the family.
MIA is liaising with the District Children’s Office who
provides them with administrative service with our foster children's
needs.
